Transition to Wood Bats

The Y271 is a transitional model for youth players moving from drop -8 to a drop -5 bat. The 271 wood bat model is available in sizes 27″ inches to 31″ inches in length. The barrel size measures 2 1/2″ inches in diameter.

Drop -5oz Weight

The 271 has a thin handle that measures under 1 inch and has a flared knob. Baseball hitters that select this model, will be able to manage the hitting zone with better ease than the bigger barrel models.
